Jung Mergs: Perceptions

Description

"Perceptions" is the title of British rapper Jung Mergs' brand new single which is dropping today. Produced by Atlanta's Black Metaphor—who recently worked on Rick Ross' Rather You Than Me LP—​Mergs crafts a timely message of positivity and perseverance over a light and fluffy trap beat. Mergs explained to Complex that "'Perceptions' is about my stages of growth in this music journey as an artist in London, and the perceptions of myself and the world around me. I wanted to express the thoughts and emotions surrounding that." A brief lyrical exercise in pattern and flow, with ethereal content thrown in for good measure, hit play on "Perceptions" down below.
